Adrianna Barrios

Adriana Barrios (b. 1981, San Diego, CA) has a BFA from the University of Texas at San Antonio and an MFA from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Barrios’ work been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions nationally and internationally, including at the Center for Visual Art, Denver, CO; Highpoint Center for Printmaking, Minneapolis, MN; Parchman Stremmel Gallery, San Antonio, TX; John Michael Kohler Arts Center, Sheboygan, WI; Museum of Wisconsin Art, West Bend, WI; as well as Santa Reparata International School of Art Gallery (SRISA), Florence, Italy; and The Instituto de Artes Plásticas, Xalapa, Mexico. She has received recognition from the Arts + Literature Laboratory, Highpoint Center for Printmaking, University of Wisconsin–Madison, as well as a Nō Studios Artist Grant and Women Artists Forward Fund Art Prize. Barrios has participated in artist residencies at the Kala Art Institute, Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design and Pilchuck Glass School. She is currently Vice President at SRISA.
