Walter Plotnick

Walter Plotnick (born 1958, Philadelphia, PA; lives Elkins Park, PA) holds a BFA from Tyler School of Art and Architecture, Temple University and an MFA from the University of the Arts, both Philadelphia. Plotnick has exhibited at galleries and museums including the Center for Photographic Art, Carmel, CA; Center for Fine Art Photography, Fort Collins, CO; State Museum of Pennsylvania, Harrisburg; 5th Annual Chelsea International Photo Exhibition and Klompching Gallery, both New York, NY; The Athenaeum of Philadelphia and Tilt Institute for the Contemporary Image, both Philadelphia; as well as A Smith Gallery, Johnson City, TX. His honors include a Bronze Award, Le Prix de la Photographie and he was named a Photolucida Critical Mass Top 50 finalist. He teaches photography at Penn State University Abington and Montgomery County Community College, both PA.
