Statement from the Artist:
I am known mostly as a black-and-white photographer, specializing in platinum prints. Earlier projects have focused on landscape, travel, immigration, and religious gatherings, which collectively strive to highlight our commonalities, relatedness and inclusivity. My work is often about marginalized populations, including non-white, immigrant, LGBT and advanced-in-age individuals. Currently, I am expanding my portfolio of images, black-and-white and color, of my life in the South for almost 73 years, as well as in Europe over the last 50.
