Glen Baldridge: The Renaissance Graphics Award

Glen Baldridge (Brooklyn, NY) is a native of Montana. His work often satirizes the mainstreaming of counter-cultures and the glorification of escapist entertainment.  Printmaking and photography dominate Baldridge’s working methods; process often acts as a foil within the narrative. Baldridge holds a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design, Providence, RI, and is represented by Halsey McKay Gallery, East Hampton, NY and Klaus von Nichtssagend Gallery, New York, NY. His work has been collected and exhibited internationally, with recent solo shows at Halsey McKay Gallery, East Hampton, NY; Klaus von Nichtssagend Gallery, New York, NY and Fourteen30 Contemporary, Portland, OR. Baldridge has had print works published by Dieu Donné, Flying Horse Editions, Forth Estate, PS Marlowe and Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshop. His work is included in the collections of the Yale University Art Gallery, New Haven, CT; The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, NY; MoMA, New York, NY; New York Public Library, New York, NY; Whitney Museum of American Art, New York, NY; RISD Museum, Providence, RI; Library of Congress, Washington, DC; and various others.

The Renaissance Graphic Arts Award ($100 gift certificate) is granted to Glen Baldridge.
