Peter Holzhauer (Los Angeles, CA) earned a BFA from the Art Institute of Boston, Boston, MA in 2004 and an MFA from the University of California, Los Angeles, CA in 2007. He has exhibited in group exhibitions in Los Angeles, Mexico City, New York, Paris and Vancouver. His photographs are held in the permanent collections of the Hammer Museum and Los Angeles County Museum of Art, both in Los Angeles, CA; and the George Eastman Museum, Rochester, NY. Holzhauer’s photographs have been published in Artforum, Blind Spot and N+1 magazines. He has been teaching at the University of Southern California, Roski School of Art and Design, Los Angeles, CA since 2011.
The Callan/McNamara Award ($500) is awarded to Peter Holzhauer.
