Karen Lederer (Brooklyn, NY) received her BFA in Printmaking and Drawing from the Sam Fox School of Fine Art and Design, Washington University, St. Louis, MO and an MFA in Printmaking from Rhode Island School of Design, Providence, RI. She has recently exhibited in See-Through, Projekt722, Brooklyn, NY; Cross Pollination, Low Road Gallery, Greencastle, IN; New Prints 2016/Winter, International Print Center New York, New York, NY; and Dear You, Field Projects Gallery, New York, NY. Lederer was a SIP Award recipient from the Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshop Program at The Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts, New York, NY. Her work has been written about in Art Business News “30 Under 30” feature, Maake Magazine, Studio Visit and New American Paintings.
