Please join us on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at The Print Center for tantalizing cocktails and delicious hors d’oeuvres while getting a preview of the upcoming Centennial celebration: The Print Center 100.
Gabriel Martinez’s exhibition, Bayside Revisited will open at The Print Center in September 2015 as part of the Centennial celebration. His use of photography as a means of celebrating, memorializing and re-contextualizing history is especially meaningful as The Print Center looks back on its own 100 year history. The exhibition will include newly commissioned works which reflect Martinez’s interest in the history of the iconic gay mecca, Fire Island including hybrid prints, an immersive film projection installation and new site specific works.
