ULAE: Prints for a New Generation celebrates the storied printmaking workshop Universal Limited Art Editions (ULAE). Founded in 1957, it has consistently welcomed a roster of esteemed artists to create groundbreaking lithographic and intaglio prints. The show will present a building-wide survey of ULAE’s innovative collaborations from the 80s and 90s with Carroll Dunham, Bill Jensen, Suzanne McClelland, Elizabeth Murray, Susan Rothenberg, and Terry Winters, with particular focus on the work of Kiki Smith.
