We are pleased to welcome Network for New Music back to The Print Center for a performance of new music created in response to artworks by Martin Puryear.
The Network ensemble will debut new works commissioned from composers Cynthia Folio, Robert Maggio, Jeffrey Mumford and Roberto Pace inspired by works in our exhibition Martin Puryear, Prints: 1962 – 2016. Mario Davidovsky’s String Trio will also be performed.
Following the performance, a panel discussion will take place with Cynthia Folio, Robert Maggio and Roberto Pace, Composers; Linda Reichert, Artistic Director and Co-founder Network for New Music and Ruth Fine, Exhibition Curator of Martin Puryear: Prints, 1962-2016.
There will be a reception following the concert.
