Join us for a Performance and Artist Talk with Ranran Fan, presented both in-person and on Zoom. This program is presented in conjunction with the exhibition Ranran Fan: Pressing Matters 按压即可, on view at The Print Center January 19 – March 30, 2024, organized by guest curator Liz K. Sheehan.
Ranran Fan (born China; lives Denton, TX) works across print, new media, installation and performance. They earned a BS in Biology in Hong Kong, a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, IL; and an MFA in Studio Art from the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque. Their work has been exhibited at Tamarind Institute, Albuquerque; Academy Art Museum, Easton, MD; Hallie Ford Museum of Art, Salem, OR; Santa Fe Art Institute and SITE Santa Fe, both NM; as well as OCT Contemporary Art Terminal, China; and Incheon Marine Asia Photography and Video Festival, South Korea. They are an Assistant Professor of New Media Art at the University of North Texas, Denton.
