Please review the entire Prospectus carefully before submitting your application. These FAQs are provided to respond to some common inquiries.

For technical support while completing the application, contact SlideRoom at support@slideroom.com or use the chat feature in their Applicant Help Center.

Still have questions? Contact info@printcenter.org.

The link to submit isn’t working, or is taking me to an old webpage. What should I do?

Only use the link from the current Prospectus. Do not use links from previous years’ competitions. Try clearing your browser history, including all cookies and cache, to see if that corrects the issue. If that doesn’t work, please try using a private browsing window, or an alternate browser application.

I worked collaboratively with another artist. Can we submit?

Yes! Feel free to update the name of your SlideRoom account to reflect both artists’ names, or simply note the additional artist(s) involved in the collaboration in the “Description” field on each applicable image. Only one submission per collaborative team is allowed.

I’m a publisher or press. Can I submit?

No. The ANNUAL International Competition is only open to individual artists (or collaborative artist teams).

How should I name my image files?

The file name will not be seen by the jurors, so it is not important to name the files in any specific way. Jurors only have access to the information you submit in the required fields such as “Title,” “Medium,” etc.

Do the images in my submission need to come from the same body of work?

The images do not necessarily need to come from the same body of work or series. We encourage you to submit whatever you feel is the strongest representation of your work, as long as the works were completed within the last three years.

Can I show multiple works in one image?

Installation views of your work(s) being exhibited are allowed. Diptych and triptych, or multi-panel (etc.) works are also accepted. However, depicting multiple separate artworks in one image is not allowed.

What should I put in the “Description” field of my submission?

Nothing is required for this field, but many artists choose to include a brief artwork description or artist statement here. You may submit a different description for each image, or repeat the same description for each image. Leaving it blank is okay, too! Please note: this field has a limit of 1,000 characters, including spaces.

Can you walk me through the submission process on SlideRoom?

A step-by-step guide will be available soon. For technical questions or issues, contact support@slideroom.com. For other questions, contact info@printcenter.org.

I realized there is a mistake in my submission or an edit I’d like to make. Can you fix it for me?

We are unable to make edits to your submission, however, if you contact us at info@printcenter.org, we can “unsubmit” your application. This will allow you to go back into SlideRoom to make any necessary edits and resubmit when you are ready. You will not need to pay a second fee. Please note: once we “unsubmit” your application, we cannot resubmit it – only you can. You must fully resubmit your application before the deadline to be entered into the ANNUAL Competition.

Can you help me with a payment issue on SlideRoom?

For technical support, including payment issues, please contact SlideRoom at support@slideroom.com or by using the chat feature in their Applicant Help Center. In the rare event that you have contacted SlideRoom and are still having trouble, email us at info@printcenter.org.

Are you able to offer a discount for financial hardship?

The Print Center aims to support artists in as many ways as possible, but unfortunately we are not in a position to assess hardship or to selectively offer fee waivers. We will waive the fee for artists whose governments do not allow them to send money outside of the country. Contact us at info@printcenter.org for more information.

I live in a country where my government prevents me from sending payments to the U.S. Can I still submit?

Yes, we would be happy to assist you. Please contact us at info@printcenter.org.
